All calculations, figures, and results provided by HandyCarTools are estimates for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional automotive, financial, mechanical, tax, or legal advice. HandyCarTools is not a financial advisor, lender, mechanic, or dealer. Vehicle and maintenance data
Fuel-economy specifications come from public-domain government datasets (the U.S. EPA / DOE and Natural Resources Canada). Real-world results vary with driving conditions, vehicle condition, and many other factors. Maintenance intervals shown in the tools are general guidelines, not manufacturer-specific recommendations — always follow your owner’s manual. The data is provided “as is,” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose.
Vehicle-specific suggestions
Suggestions tied to your saved vehicle — including motor oil viscosity (for example 0W-20, 5W-30), recommended parts, fluids, accessories, and tire sizes — are general guidelines derived from the model year, fuel type, and typical specifications for the segment. They are NOT a lookup of your manufacturer’s exact specification, and they do not account for trim level, engine variant, regional spec, climate, mileage, or any service bulletin or recall affecting your vehicle. Always verify the correct specification for your specific vehicle in the owner’s manual, on the underhood label or door-jamb sticker, or with a qualified mechanic before purchasing parts or fluids. We do not warrant that any suggested product will fit, perform, or be compatible with your vehicle, and we accept no responsibility for any damage, cost, voided warranty, or other loss resulting from a part, fluid, or accessory you purchased or used in reliance on a suggestion shown on the site.
Your data
HandyCarTools stores your saved vehicles and logs locally in your browser; we do not host them. You are responsible for backing up your own data using the export feature in My Garage. Clearing your browser data will remove it. See our Privacy & Cookies notice for details.
