What categories can I track in the Expense Tracker?
Insurance, registration & plates, maintenance & repairs, tires, parking, tolls, car wash, accessories and fuel — plus an "Other" catch-all. Fuel and maintenance are also tracked separately in their own tools; the "All-in" total combines them automatically without double-counting.
Can I export the data for my accountant or for tax filing?
Yes. The Export CSV button downloads every expense for the selected vehicle as a spreadsheet you can open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
How does the "All-in" number work?
It adds your tracked expenses + the total from your Fuel Log + the total from your Maintenance Log, giving you a single picture of what the vehicle really costs. Each source is logged independently — fuel entered in the Fuel Log is NOT also added here.
Is my expense data shared anywhere?
No. Every entry lives in your browser only. No account, no upload, no analytics on your individual entries. Clearing your browser data deletes the log, so export to CSV if you want a backup.
